AZ Consultants
Our Mission: to use fun activities to stimulate childrens' imagination. To encourage an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). To raise awareness of the use of control technology in everyday life.

AZ Consultants is a service provider of educational activities based on:

  • robotics
  • control
  • computer programming
  • physical computing (sensing and controlling the world with computers)
  • interactive product design

These activities contribute to the delivery of:

  • ICT
  • Design and Technology
  • Art and Design

A wide variety of activities is possible and they can be tailored to your needs. These include:

  • Hands-on robot building activities. From 1/2 day duration to several days. Due to the high resource requirement and supervision required, this is run in association with Exscitec.
  • One hour robotics demonstration presentation. Covering the topics: What is a robot? What are sensors, control systems and actuators? What are the pros and cons of robots? What are robots used for?
  • Workshops to kick start your school's use of control systems.
  • Training sessions for teachers to give them the confidence to use programming and control in school.
  • Individual training in the use of microcontroller technologies
  • Starting after-school clubs in computing, control and robotics. Providing on-going support.
  • One-off or regular consultation sessions.

Fees are variable and dependent on the activity. As a guide, they start from £150 for a half-day session, £300 for a full-day session. Activities that require more resources (e.g. hands-on robot building in large groups) would be substantially more. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
